#Horsemeat Scandal: Now I’m Not One For Coincidences, But… #casualsunited #boycotthalal #evf #edl #nwi #horsemeat #findus #nestle

2 + 2 = ?

Is that not a pretty easy sum to do?
I can do it… I expect most 5 years olds can do it too. However, when the same “sum” is not shown in actual numbers, some people really have big problems working it out.

Yesterday a story came up in my Facebook News Feed, the one about the Lancashire Council and Halal School Meals?
If you haven’t yet read it, here it is: Muslims in deadlock with Lancashire County Council over halal school meals.

We already can argue that their “We MUST have Halal!” arguement is INVALID but that isn’t really the point here, although let’s repost it anyway:

“Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which has been invoked the name of other than Allah. that which has been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which has been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless you are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Surah al-Ma’ida, v.3)

“He (Allah) has only forbidden upon you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name has been invoked besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits, then he is guiltless. For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful.” (Surah al-Baqarah, 173)”

In other words, “Allah” won’t think you are a complete scumc*nt if you are forced to eat non-halal if the nasty Fashist Nazis won’t give you any other choice”.

Hmmm… who are those not given a choice ATM? … Sorry, I digress…

The next item to appear on my News Feed was this one: Horsemeat found in some school dinners – in LANCASHIRE. I made a joke and asked maybe people should check where this horse meat is coming from LOL!

Some people don’t understand Halal Certification either. It is explained in this Blog Entry courtesy of the Boycott Halal Facebook Page.

This morning I awoke to find this story:

Boycott Halal – UK via Boycott Halal
(sr) Here is another confirmation that Halal Horse Meat is considered to be ok by Muslim Scholars!
Donkey is not allowed but Horses & Zebras are considered halal – with a link to this video:

And following after, I found this story: Nestle removes beef pasta meals after finding horsemeat.

What was the brand of Beef Lasagne that also had horsemeat in? Oh… that’s right, it was Findus.

FINDUS and NESTLE are both Halal Certified.

2 + 2 = ?

Can you do that sum now?

If you really do believe in “Random Coincidences That Actually Mean Nothing”, don’t worry, this Blog is obviously not for you so you are exempt from this particular maths test 🙂
